In Chinese culture, people bless the newly wed couple with lucky red envelopes, so registries are a fairly new thing for us. We actually weren't planning to register because we really don't need much since we bought a house together last year. We got many hand-me-downs and cheap stuff from ikea. :P And being the pack rats that we are, we don't have much room around here. We're working on the pack rat issue. :P
We did receive some requests for a registry though, and when our ikea dishes started to chip after couple months, we figure it wouldn't hurt to replace a few the the things around here.
We are registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and Crate and Barrel.
Giftcards to Costco would also be greatly appreciated, especially now that we're saving up for a new TV (people have blue lips and green skin on our current TV). And of course, lucky red envelopes are also greatly appreciated. |
